We are back with more advice for you prospective brides from those who have been in your same position and survived to tell the tale 🙂 In this next installment of “From Bride to Bride, we are featuring one of our wonderful previous brides, Arynn, who married her adoring husband Stanley on September 23, 2017:
The biggest piece of advice I can give would be to: relax and enjoy. The day passes by so quickly, even the most prepared person will notice that the clock does not stop clicking. Before you know it – it’s midnight and you’re tired and ready to sleep for centuries. So instead of worrying about the small mishaps (believe me there will be mishaps) just take it in, look around, and admire the people that came to share this day with you. Now with that said – here are a few of things I did or wish I did:
Wedding Planners
Wedding planners can be incredibly helpful – at the very least for the day of. I thought wedding planners were the rich and famous – nope, they can be affordable and limit and prevent a lot of headache. This is their area of expertise, they know the questions to ask, what to keep an eye out for, and can also get you deals you would otherwise not have.
Remember What Is Important
Consistently remind yourself that this wedding/marriage is about the two of you. Limit the outside noise from getting in the way of your planning and decisions, always go back to the foundation, the two of you. At the end of the day it is your wedding day, what YOU want, because once its all said and done, you want to be able to look back a week, months, years later with no regrets. Others will forget and move on with their lives, but this is your story, your memory.
Enjoy!
Try to enjoy every single minute of your wedding day! It moves so fast! Remember to dance with your new husband/wife!
